“Al-Haqimu al-Alim”, the name of the research center, is derived from two of Allah’s (j.j.) titles: “Haqim (Ruler)” and “Alim (all-knowing)”. The reason for placing the term “hiqmat (wisdom)” before “ilim (science)” is due to the need for hiqmat, which is greater than the accumulation of information which people have achieved today. Science and skills are expected to bring peace and welfare to the people, however, today’s modern world has been formed on political and financial wars and conflicts, which has also impacted the scientific and academic fields and caused people to neglect moral values and ideals which are considered as the basis of civilization.
