The study of "Sahabe's understanding of the Quran" has an introduction unit and other iree chapters. In the introduction part, it has been stated that understanding of the Quran and giving nportance to life by the way of interpretation of the Quran. Moreover it has been also stated lat efforts of the sahabe on this matter. The importance of the communication with the God by le way of the sahabe's point of the vision to the Quran is presented. In the first chapter, concept of sahabi has been discussed and methodologists' definition of ihabi has been accepted. So sahabi concept is restricted and the study is constructed on that sfinition. Importance of some factors like geography, language and culture which have some snefits to sahabe and their understanding of Quran are also stated. In this chapter, the prophet's :aching and education which are very important for sahabe to understand the Quran is studied, he functional examples and case studies of some sahabe's understanding of the Quran by aving prophet's education have also been taken part in that study. In the second chapter, the methods of the sahabe to understand the Quran is studied and it as been found that sahabe read and memorized it. In other words sahabe learnt the Quran srfectly. They asked some questions to the prophet without any hesitation to understand the 'uran. They also tried to learn the reasons of the revealations of the verses in order to nderstand the judgement of the Quran and the background. Then, they produced global values om verses that they had learnt. In that case it is possible to say that they gave meaning to their fe by applying judgements of the Quran. And they interpreted the Quran whenever they need so ley prevented the verses to be stable in the history. In the third chapter, some examples about understanding of the Quran from sahabe who nows the Quran the best are given. Ömer and Abdullah b. Mesut interpreted the Quran and resented extraordinary point of view. Abdullah b. Abbas is very important person with his iterpretation knowledge rather than different perception of the Quran. In this study it is concluded that we can produce a project on the reading and understanding f the Quran by the system of that sahabe's understanding.
