“The Reasons of The regrets Subject to The Verses of The Qur’an”

Abstract Of Title
In this article the regrets subject to the verses of the Qur’an are focused on. While concentrating on their reasons, some concrete examples are touched on so that the theme of the article can be better understood. While describing the regrets, the details of the incidents experienced by those who faced this phenomenon are given.The Qur’an has put forward a human-centered perspective rather than a belief -centered perspective while emphasizing regrets. As touching on them, it has been emphasized with an overview that this phenomenon is a human reality. The phenomenon of feeling regret occurs as the necessity of being a human tested by the Creator. Making a decision while being tested requires to have willpower. According to the Qur’an, willpower is the basic characteristic that makes man and jinnsuperior to other creatures. Plants and animals do not have such capability. This situation prevents them from being tested and feeling regret. Yet every regret lived offers man very great opportunities along with it in reach-ing maturity. A critical perspective developed on the reasons of regrets that are lived individually and socially causes opening a new page. On the one hand, while regret has been leading to the emergence of individuals who are experienced and resistant to difficulties, on the other hand it has been opening a door for building new civilizations. The greatest civilizations in history have been founded in geographies where the greatest social regrets have been lived. Feeling regret and confession is the main fact of man that makes him different from other beings.
