Abstract Of Title

Although Zamahshari (467/1075) and Abu Hayyan (745/1344) lived in different centuries, they came to the forefront with their abilities and insight in Arabic lan-guage in their own era. While The Tefseer of Zamakhshari's, Kashshaaf, is dirayah exegesis, Aboo Hayyan's al-Bahr al-muhīt is riwaya exegesis. In the works of these two important exegesis commentators who have come to the forefront in terms of language and eloquence, I'câz al-Qur'an, one of the tafseer sciences, attracts the at-tention. Both commentators gave great importance to the examination of the Qur'an in terms of lugat, nahiv, eloquence and i’caz. In our study, there will be a review of how the subject of İ’câzu’l -Qur'an is discussed in these two different exegesis. Furthermore, in these two exegesis, It is tried to be determined that which subheads of the İ’câzü’l -Qur'an are handled (language, style, gayb news, natural sciences etc.). İn these two works, which stand out in terms of language, it will be briefly touch on what other Qur'anic sciences are included.
