“THE QURAN AND ESTHETICS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE IHSAN CONCEPT”

Abstract Of Title
“Husn” word which is used in meanings of “to be beauty, pretty and pleasant” in the Arabic is one of the words frequently used in the Quran regarding beauty. The word is to state both beauty at moral and social field and personal and social beauty such as harmony and accordance. The Quran deals with meaning of the word as a way of life at the same time, and states this through “ihsan” such as “doing good without expecting personal gain” and “doing good behavior”. Having ihsan is also called “muhsin”. Both words are frequently used in the Quran as well. Meaning of having ihsan is to be able to do goodness and good trearment a form of life in shortness and abundance through lifelong. In this sense, the word also expresses moral and social beauty besides personal beauty. It is clear that the Qur'an has a state of aesthetic stance in terms of having good behaviors and exhibiting these beautiful behaviors and being an example to other people. In this study on the subject of "Qur'an and Esthetics in the Context of the Concept of Ihsan", we would like to examine the answer of the question that what do we need to do so that good behaviors can be formed in people in the framework of the concept of "ihsan".
