Abstract Of Title
ABSTRACT in this study, we examined the concept of "straightness" in the Holy Qur'an. Our study is composed of three basic chapters in addition to the introduction. In the introduction, we gave an axpianation as to the importance, purpose and method of the subject matter we have studied. Afterwards, we have focused on some principles to illuminate the issue regarding the emergence of a balanced society and the corruption of its balance. First chapter begins with the etymology of the word "straightness" and displays its origins and derivatives. It then attempts to establish the various senses, included in Arabic language and Qur'an, of such verbs as "straighten". Second chapter tries to analyse the concept of straightness. It firstly examines its lexical and technical meanings then dwells on the definitions of the straightness, and and later on its usages in Holy Qur'an and Ahadeeth. Finally, it indicates some words which may be positively or negatively related to the word straightness. Third chapter first deals with the relationship between straightness and examination, and second considers its individual, social and moral dimensions. It third denotes worldy and otherworldy results of being straight ahead. Subsequently it mentions on the relationship God's will and being straight ahead and finally attempts to find out an answer to that question: "is possible for any human being to be exactly straight ahead ?"
