“*The approaches of Fareddin er-Razi and Ibn Taymiyya to the Quran ”

Abstract Of Title
ABSTRACT This study consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, it was given information about lives of F. Râa and Ibn Taymiyya, and their masters, students and effects. In the second one, it was introduced sources which they used on the fields of tafsir, hadith, fiqh, theology and the history, literature and positive sciences and etc. In the third chapter, it was dealt with the general method and contents of both tafsirs, and also some differentiative features. It was tried to show how they approaches to some technical terms such as tafsir, ta'wil and tarjuma and subjects of usul al-tafsir and Qur'anic sciences. In the fourth chapter, it was studied Qur'anic unity, coherence among Qur'anic chapters and verses. In the last one, it was searched how both of them looked at intellect and tafsir narrations ans also their approach to linguistic subjects. Here, it was also studied their different approach to fiqh and theology schools and their views.
