Abstract Of Title

History is the third source of knowledge after revelation and wisdom (including feelings and intuition) and Allah manifests with His Names and Attributes in History. In this regard History is the widest future of theology. Then, by examining the historical period we have the chance to learn Allah and His treatment (Sunnetullah). On the other hand when explaining the rise and decline of the communities, the parables holding a great part in Qur?an give specific information about the functioning of the historical process that will not change in time. In this regard, History is a source of fundamental knowledge about mankind and Allah. The Quran defines the History within the framework of concepts like "Allah's days" (eyyamullah) , the historical process, in particular, "Allah?s way of creation (fıtratullah), Allah's behavioral paint (sıbgatullah) and "divine law" (Sunnetullah). As it can be understood from these concepts, the Quran never defines the History as a process detached from Allah. At one end of the History there are humankind while at the other end is Allah. The historical period interpreted by men, in terms of the formation of his own historical actions is anthropological yet as a whole it is Allah?s Creature, ie; Allah?s principles and laws (fıtrat) are set by Allah and exposed to His continual intervention so this respect it has a theological nature. For these reasons History is a holistic process having divine and human aspects.Quran gives a central place to men in the formation of human History. As explained in the Quran, the creation of man as the caliph of the earth, to take upon himself the "trust", having been enabled with a benign nature, having been taught the names of objects and such is important for men to understand his central role. Having all these creational capabilities the men is the subject of his own History.According to the Qur'an, the History is a significant and purposeful process beginning with the first man Adam and will end on so-called the Judgment day which is concealed from the human knowledge, but will continue in another dimension according the historical account of actions in the Hereafter. However, it is seen in the Qur'an that the historical process is fair, objective, moral, evolving, so optimistic and universal accommodating humanity, dialectical and in the final analysis good overcomes evil and Allah is selective in willing the individuals and societies He chooses to carry the Divine message.
