The intense endevaour of Muslims to understand the Holy Qur?an has alwayscontinued in the history. During the last years especially the studies which had takenthe whole tradition of the revelation and semantic methods into considideration, have contributed much to this endevaour of understanding. There are about two thousand words which are derived from the roots `brk?,`sbh? and `qds? used in the Holy Qur?an and the Holy Testament. These words havea vital importance in clarifying the meaning codes of Holy Books about the relationbetween the creator and his servants. Blessing (brk) points out the continious andunlimited prosperity, fortune and happiness by God to his servants and glorification(sbh) indicates the servants? worshipping of their God. In order to define the pure, clean, blameless and sacred meaning area of this interrelation, the word holy (qds) isused by the Holy Books.
