Abstract Of Title

Sense organs transform characteristics of existence into the electrical signal and transmit these to the brain by nerve cells. The raw data related to the existence are obtained after processing such signals by the brain. These processed data are called as sensation. Sensations are received continuously through the five basic senses. Any problems encountered by the senses, it also negatively affects the intake of these sensations. Therefore, any loss of sensory organs, the unsatisfactory result that gives the sensation in the area. Perception is a more complex process with respect to sensation. Sensation is raw material in the formation of the perception. Turning into perception of this raw material is performed by the interpretation of human-being. This interpretation process is a subjective process that varies from person to person. Because it is a process in which many subjective factors such as personality traits, knowledge, perspective, education, biological needs and feelings are involved. So sensations rarely become an original copy of the outside world. With this study we tried to identify; how the sensation and perception process occur and develop in the Qur'an, what are the internal and external factors that affect them and what needs to be done to pay attention for accurate detection of existence and events. Furthermore we tried to explain; what are the points to be considered that lead to perceptual illusions and what needs to be done to avoid illusion and inducement of perception.
