Abstract Of Title

In this study, Kashshaf Commentary was studied in terms of the Qur'anic sciences. Kashshaf Commentary was chosen for its highly accomplished success in showing linguistics and stylistic features of Qur'an.Our study consists of three main chapters. In the first chapter, the sciences of Qur'an were studied as concept and content.In the second chapter, author Zamakshari was introduced with his different perspectives and his biography was tried to be contributed through using primarily his diwan and other books penned by himself.In the third chapter, Kashshaf Commentary was studied and evaluated under the category of Muhkamah-Mutashabih, Al-Muqattaat, repetitions, Mushkil, and i'jaz and metaphors which are among the Qur?anic sciences. It was noticed that studied topics were the highlighted ones in Kashshaf Commentary. As a result of that, other topics which are among the Quranic sciences have been left out. As a conclusion, obtained data during the research were evaluated.As a result of the research, it has been realized that Kashshaf Commentary contains high amount of information by means of linguistics and all obtained examples and evaluations from the tafseer will contribute to Qur?anic sciences and provide necessary data to the lessons taken in this field. Moreover, It has been noticed that the data provided during the study will assists in recognizing the language and style of Qur'an and to overcome problems in understanding Qur'an.
