“Items for which zakat is payable according to the Quran”

Abstract Of Title
In this study, the definition of the proper distribution items of zakat has been aimed according to the integrity of the Quran. The study consists of an introduction section, three main parts and a conclusion section. In the introduction section, the purpose and the scope of the study has been indicated. In the first main section, after the conceptual frame of the subject has been mentioned, the history of items for which zakat is payable has been clarified according to the revealing rank of the Quran verses. In the second section, the eight payable items for zakat has been clarified by paying attention to the ideas of Islamic scholars. The usage of those payable items in the Quran was also mentioned in this section including how we should understand them in our age. In the third section, the subject has been focused on the items for which zakat is impossible to be payable. The purpose of zakat and some complementary issues have been also touched in this section. In the conclusion section, the results and wishes have been summarized.
