Abstract Of Title

Expenditure(Infak) and Alms (Zekat) Relations in The Qur?an in the Context of Mecca SurasIt has examined that the Qur?anic verses have come down during the Mecca and Medinan period concerned with expenditure(infak) and alms(zekat) that cosist of approximately between 200 and 250 verses. Staring from it is about between 87 and 90 suras have been gone down in city of Mecca, it is true that there were many verses related to directly or indirectly expenditure and alms in the verses which come down Mecca period.Prerequisite of the real understanding of Qur?anic message, it is known about the data life of Mecca?s people during the ignorant time, before Islam. For that reason, In the Itroduction chapter, ıt has been discussed commercial, trading and social position of Arabic society before Islamic era.In the first chapter; the verses pertaining to the expenditure and alms have been determined the time of prophets before Prophet Muhammad. To better understanding the Qur?anic verses interested in expenditure and alms, these verses also expose that what is the process of the sentences from beginning to the that time. From these point, it is also involved in the verses and suras that explain about the prophets in the Qur?an. Especially, the verses related to the Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus have been studied carefully from the New Testament and Torah, and also have been made comparison with Qur?an.In the second chapter; The expressions have been analysed in the verses from beginning time of Islam, such as feeding (it?am), treating(ikram), giving(i?ta). It has been observed that these expressions consist of basic and started point of expenditure.In the third chapter; we have also studied the verses that come down the time between 5 and 10 years of prophethood, related to the expressions of mainly expenditure and alms; secondarily charity(tasadduk) and benefaction(ihsan). By the way, it has been discussed the connection between the expenditure and alms that are mentioned in the Qur?an at the same time. Especially, it is focused on the meanning of alms in the Mecca?s verses. However, it is made the alms measure that has not determined up that time.In the fourth chapter; the expression that has given in the Qur?an and come down between 10 and 13 years of Mecca, such as giving, justice(hak), effacement(afv) and expenditure has been scrutinized from the book of interpretation and dictionary.
