In this study, the concept of "knowledge", the handling of it, firstly in the Holy Quran, in the classical dictionaries of Arab language and Ignorance poem in its all the derivatives has been studied, and also it has been semantically analyzed by the new meanings which gained in history.Moreover, different reflections of the concept of "knowledge" in Hadith which a kind of explanation of the Qur?an have been discussed, and the mean difference between the words used in Arab language in Ignorance period and the new meanings of that concept which gained by the Quranic view semantically have been taken.In this study it is admitted to classical Arabic dictionaries and in the result, synonymous expressions with knowledge as "ingenuity", "understanding", "fıkqh", "foresight ", "sense", "seeing", "certanity", and "consciousness" have been detected, and also as "ignorance", "presumption" opposite concept with "knowledge" and close meaningful words as "comprehension", "reasoning", "intellectual", "news", "thought" and "remembrance" semantically (diachronic) have been examined.In this study based on Quran and Tafsir literature the above-quoted words and concepts from the angle of synonymous, near significance and opposite significance semantically have been analyzed. As a result of this analysis, semantic field of concept of knowledge and principles related to it have been determined, especially the some common mistakes related to "fantasy" and "suspicion" have been resolved.As a result: After reviewing Arabic classical dictionaries and Ignorance poems as texts, by applying Qur?an that carries the specific semantic field of an universal treasure, the semantic analysis of "knowledge? has been done and its basic guides have been investigated.
