Abstract Of Title

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship of Self-esteem and Religiosity in the sample of Bilecik in adult ladies who are studying in Quran courses and to show the relation of these two variables with some demographic variables. The universe of the research consists of 30 female Quran courses (58 classes) carrying out training activities depending on the Bilecik Provincial Mufti in 2014-2015 academic year and 800 adult women studying in these courses. The Survey method was used as a field study in which religiosity and self-esteem were considered as two main variables. Religiosity Scale was used to measure the religiousness level of the participants and Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale was used to measure the level of self-esteem. SPSS v20.0 (Statiscal Package for Social Sciences) package program was used for the statistical analysis of the data obtained in the research and descriptive statistics such as frequency analysis, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage were used in the analysis of the data. The LSD test was used for the post hoc analysis when the results of Independent T test, Dependent T test and Anova (variance analysis) variance analysis were meaningful for parametric tests. Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated in the relationship analysis. As a result of the statistical analysis, it is seen that there is a change / difference between the situation of the Quran Course students before the receiving training and the situation after the receiving training has been completed; It was found that the levels of self-esteem, religiosity, religiosity and perceived religiosity of the students increased significantly and significantly with respect to the first measure in the second measure and that the highest average of the Qur'an Course students in the first and second measures were the belief dimension from the Religiosity Scale subscales Then this was followed by other dimensions and the lowest point average was related to the dimension of worship. It found that religiosity scale is increasing in that there is a relationship and Koran courses in studying adult female of religiosity scale of the dimensions Rep size average increases self-esteem in the Self-Esteem Scale When we look at the analysis of the relationship between the points Religiosity Scale and experience the size of the sub-dimensions Self-Esteem Scale score. In sum, the education given in the Quran courses on self-esteem of adult women who attend these courses, their religious beliefs and worship, which contributed positively to the religious perception and way of life and the students' religiosity and self-esteem has been found to increase the level.
