Abstract Of Title
This work ?which is on Hz. Umar?s understanding of holy book and interpretation of method -handles with Hz. Umar?r understanding and interpreting the message of Qur?an who is a witness and an advocaterof holy message.The research consists of three sections an introduction part. In introduction section subject of the research and methods are specified. Then Hz. Umar?s life and its relationship with Qur?an are studied. This section also includes Hz. Umar?s understanding of Qur?an and how it effected his social statue, knowledge, persenality in abroad sense.İn the first section context of Qur?an according to Hz. Umar is analyzed. His respect for Qur?an, his responsibilities and his effects on realization of the message of the holy book are studied.In the second and third sections Hz. Umar?s approaches on Qur?an are studied. The resources of understanding and interpretation of the holy message,s his methods, his interpretations and explanations are handled with examples. Moreove, In this section his attitude at taking the holy message of Qur?an as abasis for his actions in the other words keeping Qur?an alive in his mind is studied.In final chapteran overall summary and conclusions take place.
