Abstract Of Title

It is well known that Dhu'l-Qarnayn appears in the Koran Kehf: 82-96, under the name of the Lord of the two horns. He is here a Priest-King, a man who, as God's vicegerent, is master of this world and honoured in the next.Dhu'l-Qarnayn, the Lord of the two horns, is an epithet bestowed by scholars upon Alexander the Great (Iskender), Kyrus, I.Darius and Naram-sin and the other emperors of the world.Unfortunately Alexander and the others cannot be considered as a source of the Koranic narrative.Dhu'l-Qarnayn journeyed to the west and then to the east. Then, he moved to another direction, presumably to the north. There, he jailed Yajuj and Majuj by constructing an iron gate adorned by copper. As the sign of the Resurrection Day, Yajuj and Majuj will make a hole on this gate and quit, and spread to all world.
