Abstract Of Title

In this research, in which we investigated reflection of the relation between Muslims and other religious groups to the Quran in opoplexy process of Quran, we searched short history of the active three religious groups; Jews, Christians, and Polytheist and how they settled in the Hijaz region. At the same time, we provided information about the True (Hanif) Mecusies and Sabians as individual actions. In this research, we separated the relations between Muslims and other religious groups in two chapters, as the period of Mecca and Medina. We found that, the verses which were sent during the period of Mecca confirmed the other books (The old Testament and Bible) and clarifed continuation of the other religions (Jewishness and Christianity) using gentle expressions. However, we found that it contained tough expressions against polytheists, even during the first period We investigated the relations between these religious groups under two main titles as peace and war period During the peace period, we had a chance to witness that Quran summoned people to "Oneness of Allah" in the relations with these religious groups as a common belief, as for the war period, we found that tough expresions were used against these religious groups. We determined that these relations didn't always have effect on Quran but had a position in history according to custom. Even the part which reflected on Quran didn't always have a positive reflection, sometimes as a determiner of the situation, sometimes as a guide. We are convinced that the reason why there are few verses about Mecusies and Sabians is that; during the process of revelation of the Quran, quite few of them lived in the region of Hijaz and they didn't have dialogues with Muslims. As a result, we found an opportunity to find that during the process of revelation of Quran, it gave special significance to people of Book (Jews and Christians) and addressed them in a different way.
