“The professional ethics principles of Qur'anic course instructiveness according to the view of the instructors”

Abstract Of Title
The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of the Qur'anic course instructors working in Qur'an courses in the frame of the Presidency of Religious Affairs by explainig in dept and to examine the opinions of the instructors about adoption of these principles and status of their colleagues' compliance. The research was carried out exploratory sequential mixed method design among mixed research methods. The participants of this research consisting of ten Qur'anic course instructors in Ankara determined by maximum diversity sampling. The sample of the study consists of 858 instructors working in the central districts of Ankara. Semi-structured interview form have been used as qualitative data collection tool in the research. The quantitative data of the research were collected with the personal information form and Professional Ethics Princeples Scale utilized by the researcher in accordance the qualitative data of the research. The data of the qualitative of this research has been analyzed with both descriptive and content analysis by NVivo 10. Quantitative data of the study were analyzed in IBM SPSS program. In quantitative data analysis descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were used such as percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, t-Test and ANOVA. According to the qualitative analysis of the research, the opinions of Qur'an course instructors on professional ethical principles is defined six themes for students, colleagues, course and management, profession, parent and community. In the study, the findings obtained from the qualitative data were found to be compatible with the findings obtained from quantitative data. The opinions of the Qur'an course instructors on their adoption of professional ethics principles were found to be higher than about their colleagues' on the status of compliance with these principles. According to the scores obtained from the Professional Ethical Principles Scale, the opinions of the Qur'an course instructors on their adoption of professional ethics principles differed significantly according to the status of the task and type of the course. The opinions of the Qur'an course instructors about their colleagues' on the status of compliance with professional ethics principles found significantly different according to gender, the status of the task, hifz, educational status and the type of the course.
