“Gadhab” Concept and An Analysis From the Qur’anic Perspective
Some concepts that express “feeling/emotion”have been used in both instances Allah and human in the Holy Qur’an. One of these is “gadhab/anger” which is taken part with several variants of the concept in the Holy Qur’an twenty-four times. When viewed from holistic approach to the Holy Qur’an, it has been understood that the attitudes and behaviors of Children of Israel have mostly become the target of God’s gadhab but said target is not limited of them. Glossary meaning of the “gadhab” concept and how it is described in some Islamic sources are included in the entry of this article and after thanit has beenanalysed how to use this concept in the Qur’anic integrity.
