Abstract Of Title
Knowledge, which becomes the real matter in formation of all civilizations and
thought systems, is also the basis of Islamic thought system. The Quran is the first and
unconditional authoritive figure in deciding which sources can be considered as valid
within the Islamic limits. In this study, I will dissect various terms put forward in the
history of Islamic thought, namely revelation, inspiration, intuition, dream, sense
aql/reason in considering of the Quranic verses.
