Abstract Of Title
The commentary activity related to the Quran started with its descent. Surely, the first person to comment on the Quran is the prophet Mohammed. The activi-ty to come out the meanings that the Quran include maintains with ashab and tabiin. In the middle of second Hijri century, it‟s met with the studies focusing on the Quran under the names such as garib al-Quran and maani al-Quran that lin-guists have written. Besides, it has been seen that the studies desribed as Mush-kil al-Quran and vucuh and nazair has begun from the early centu-ries.Unfortunately, many of the studies of the authors doing studies in this area haven‟t reached today yet. In this study, we are going to deal with the studies concerning the tafsir.
