Abstract Of Title

The Faith inthe Prophet Jesus’ (pbuh) ascension and descending has become
one of the controversial issuesin the thought atmosphere triggered by the Westernization
and modernization movement in the İslâmic world in modern times,
and these issues continue to be controversial today as well. Modernist movements
which started a discussion about traditional scholarly literature and therelated
classic methods of reasoning preferred the rejection ofthe traditional ways
of explanation based on the assumption that these reports are fabricated. While
accepting the methodological difficulties of ignoring the ahadīth of the Prophet
to whom the Qur’an was revealed and its harmful consequences in terms of İslâmic
thinking, it is obvious the need to test the modernist approach in question
according to Qur’an since the discussion is being carried based on the parties’
respective assumptions.
That’s why in the present article the subject has been written at the axis of
Qur’an.In this framework, the issue was investigated considering the requirements
of the Arabic language, Qur’anic lexicography, the exegesis of the Qur’an
with Qur’an. Also taking into consideration the methods of topical exegesis, the
related verses of Qur’an are tried to be understood in terms of subject integrity.
The conclusions of this research and its thesis is that the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) did
not die, andis still alive and will descent on to the earth near the apocalypse, and
that all of these results arethe Qur’anic facts.
