Abstract Of Title
This study will focus on developing process of Qur’an sciences and on the
studies in this field, from the time of The Prophet Mohammad to the 8th century A.H. at
first, and then will make identifications and assessments about their contents. Many of
these assessments are based on our analysis and identifications on these books. Later, it
will address discussions in their writing adventures on Bedreddin al-Zerkeşi’s
(794/1391) al-Burhan fi Ulum al-Kur’an; Celaleddin al-Bulkini’s (829/1421) Mevakı’
al-Ulum min Mevakı’ al-Nucum; Muhyiddin al-Kafiyecı’s (879/1474) Kitab al-Teysir fi
ilmi al-Tefsir; Suyûtî’s (911/1506) al-İtkân fî Ulûm al- Qur’an and then will discuss
purpose of writing al-Burhan and its methodological originality according to its
purpose.
