Abstract Of Title

The Qur?an was revealed with a miraculous addressing method by which willaddress to mankind and lead them to consider and urge them to research about Ituntil the Day of Judgment.In the first chapter of this study, with regard to essence and content of the Qur?an,by making a definition, some characters of the Qur?an was remarked. It was dealtwith the rich meaning of the statement of the Qur?an, the remarkable resemblancein language used by the Qur?ân and these characteristics which is causedinterpretative differentiations. It is investigated that language is a necessaryelement for the correct and healthy interpretation of the Qur?an. As acontemporary understanding method the contribution of hermeneutic andsemantics are also considered in the interpretation of the Qur?an.In the second chapter disciplines which related to the method of exegesis (usûl attafsîr)and Qur?anic sciences (ulûm al-Qur?ân) are placed. In that chapter it isalso investigated that the historical context is necessary for the interpretation ofthe Qur?ân.By emphasizing the probability of the establishment on the basic purposes of theQur?ân it is pointed out that to establish the main principles of the Qur?ân is anobligatory action. Therefore it is stated that categorical classification of thesubjects which are dealt with in the Qur?ân is necessarily must be done. It is alsoindicated that the purposes of Islamic law (maqasid al-sharîa) which fulfilled inIslamic jurisprudence (fiqh) can be fulfilled for whole mutters of the Qur?ân aswell. Thus, the establishment of the general regulations in the Qur?ân arerecommended. Hence it is determined that these general regulations are universalwhile the other fragmentary rules periodically can be gain new different practice ifthey interpreted through these general principles. By drawing attention tounderstanding methods of theologians, jurists and mystics it is pointed out thathow successful contribution has been made by these methods in establishment ofthe aims of the Qur?ân.Two eminent figures of the historical interpretation Arkoun and Fazlur Rahman?sinterpretations have given to place in order to point out that in what degree thehistorical point of view contributed to establish the main aims and principles of theQur?ân.In the third chapter feasible possibility of the submitted principles to mankind bythe Qur?ân were treated. The universality of the Qur?ân, its historicalinterpretation, and its changeable and unchangeable rules were investigated.Lastly it is clarified that there were not unlimited freedom and will not on theinterpretation of the Qur?ân. Such kind of forcing or neglecting the rules is worstthing can be done for the Qur?ân.
