Abstract Of Title
In this study it is discussed an unexplored Qur'an commentary dated 1570, which is a copy of the commentary of Ebul'l-Leys es-Semerkandî. This work, written with a moving and legible nesih script, is 270 leaf from Yasin sura to the end and each page has 23 lines. At the beginning of the work there is a verse of 33 couplets. The study consists of four parts: Introduction, Examination, Text and Index. In the introduction part, we have firstly introduced the translation of the Qur'an into Turkish, the translation types and the related Qur'an translations in Eastern Turkish and Western Turkish. Later, the copies of Ebul'l-Leys es-Semerkandî exegesis were classified and the analysis of the examined copy was made. Finally, the method of constructing the text and creating the index were discussed. In the examination section, the distinguishing aspects of the work (which is a text of Old Oghuz Turkish) in terms of spelling, sound and structure have been shown and the used vocabulary has been examined. In the text section, the work is translated into transcription. In the Index section, a glossary of the text is created and a separate index for special names is also prepared.
