Kurdish scholars wrote their works mostly in the Arabic language until the Ottoman Empire collapsed, and then they focus on using their language. However, there is not enough academic research that has been made about this Kurdish language bibliography. From the beginning till today, it is written almost 90 Kurdish interpretation of the Quran and content in Turkey, Iraq, Iran where Kurds live. Kurds met with the Quran in the early ages of Islamic times, however it is being quite late to work on the Quran with their own language. In Kurdish communities, Muslim theological schools' formal language was Arabic, but also the speaking language was Kurdish. So, the scholars did not need to interpret the verses and hadiths. The language of preaching and guidance was also predominantly Kurdish therefore there has not been needed Kurdish interpretation and content. In our thesis, we worked on the Kurdish interpretation of the Quran and content. As a result of our search, we found eighty-seven (87) research regarding Kurdish interpretation and content.
