İlyas CANİKLİ
Abstract Of Title
From the moment the revelation began to arrive, various opinions have been proposed about what the limits of the Prophet's knowledge are or may be, both based on the Qur'an and Sunnah-centric and other sources of information. It is observed that these discussions continue today on certain platforms. It is possible to say that there is no confusion about the limits of the Prophet's knowledge when the aforementioned discussions are viewed on a Qur'an basis. However, when the Qur'an-hadith relationship is taken into consideration, ıt is a well-known fact that the confusion about the belonging of hadiths to the Prophet also continued in our time. In our opinion, there are different reasons for this situation. The pre-acceptance that he knows everything, built on the vision of a prophet far from the Qur'an and the life lived, remains a fundamental problem in many issues from the Subut/ certainty of the Hadith to the delalet/ indication of it. This article aims to remove obstacles to a healthy understanding and conception of the Prophet about the limits of knowledge and to eliminate baseless opinions on this subject.
Key words: Qur’an, the holy prophet, Knowledge, Boundary, Non-revelation.
