Abstract Of Title

Mullah Sadra's work "Tefsiru'l-Kuranı Kerim" has a significant place in theological, philosophical, jurisprudential and mystical aspects. Mullah Sadra was born in 979/1571 in the economically, socially, culturally and religiously bright athmosphere of shiraz. He took lessons from sheikh Muhammed Bakır Esterabadi who was known as "Mîr Dâmâd" by social studies. He weathered upon his master sheikh Bahattin el Amuli in Nakli Learning For not being satisfied by schooling, he spent 15 years in Kehek village near Kum city. He practiced meditction and good deeds there. His knowledge Works are products of this era. After having come back Shiraz fifteen years later. He instructed in Allah verdi Han's madrasah. Mullah Sadra wrote more than forty Works bosed on interpretation, hadith, Islamic theology, figh, tasawwuf and philosophy saying regretting spending long time by philosophers ideas and Islamic theologists arguments, he started interpreating the Holy Quran. However, he could only interpreate ten Surahs and a few verses of Quran. His eight volume work has on important place in the aspects of history of Quran, Quran studies, hadith, figh, lexicon, rhetoric, tasawwuf, Islamic theology and philosophy. In his work "Tefsirul Kuran" Mullah Sadra, emphesized the importance of plenty meanings. After mentioning zaher meaning of the verses, he also interpreated them Botın(symbolicaly) Despite being shiite, he had a pen without bigotry. Because he was a philosophic interpreter, he adopted the teaching of his sect Caferriye and also, he had different ideas Although he quated from a lot of philosophers, he also criticized them harshly. Giving importance to the Zaher-Batin unity, he also included stories of Ehlibeyt and Ehli Sünnet our thesis is about the way of interpreating of " Tefsirul Kuran" by Mullah Sadra. The methads he used interpreating Kuran and revelating the richness of his work by using Sunni-Shiit interpreations in his work are the main purposes.
